Post by MtnAg08 »

Also have had some Scaups over the last few weeks in Avon, CO. Is anybody able to tell if they are Lesser, Greater or both? Thanks!

The first one is a Lesser. The white on the trailing side of the wing doesn't extend all the way across.

All the Scaup looks fine for Lesser. The nails are skinny, heads peaked in the back, purplish sheen
