Female Finches or Pine Siskins?
Female Finches or Pine Siskins?
Found these at a feeder by the Eagle River in Avon, CO this morning. There were a few male House Finches (one pictured) so having trouble determining if the rest are female house finches or Pine Siskins. Thanks!

Re: Female Finches or Pine Siskins?
The first photo looks like a female House Sparrow to me. The second is a male House Finch. The rest are Pine Siskins.MtnAg08 wrote: Tue May 05, 2026 9:50 pm Found these at a feeder by the Eagle River in Avon, CO this morning. Thanks for the confirmations and the ID on the House Sparrow. I did see a male House Sparrow dive bomb in twice to chase everybody. Didn't realize a female was hiding in there, let alone I snapped a shot of her lol.
