Any way to hide spoilers?

Post by Charlie Spencer »

The old 'change text to white' trick doesn't work. None of the available font colors in the palette match the background of a posted comment. Yeah, I could try to figure out the numbers for it but I'd prefer to ask before I go down that road.

Thanks.

I'll try to find a better solution, but the background here is #2596be

I also replied in a spoiler in the Birdiegame thread, so disregard this if you read the other post first..

Use the BBCode "spoiler" tag inside square brackets, with the backslash in front of the closing "/spoiler" brackets. Type your text/spoiler between the two "spoiler" brackets.

I wasn't aware that there is now a "spoiler" button above the message box when I posted instructions.

I installed it after the first post in this thread, so if you looked before that, you couldn't have seen it.

I'm not 100% certain, but I don't think the spoiler button was there when you asked about it. I think it was a function that Greyhawk added after you inquired about spoilers.

I dont know how, but I missed this post when I submitted the above post.
I'm not losing my marbles, honest. I lost them a long time ago.

Ah, gaslighting the old men. Taking advantage of senior citizens on fixed incomes. I see how it's going to be around here. Next you'll be coming for our health care and our coffee discounts. Wait until I tell the guys about this tomorrow morning at McDonald's! :P

Yikes, I thought the local country style cooking Cafe was the local coffee shop at least throughout the whole south. Really? McDonald's?

Seriously, every fast food joint I've gone into for breakfast in the last 20+ years has had a contingent of male retirees camped out at a couple of tables. I said McDonald's because I knew everyone would recognize it but Hardee's usually has a bigger bunch.
