Flycatchers

Need help identifying a bird? Please post your question here and if possible include a photo. Also let us know where and when you saw the bird. Other things that help are listing any field marks that stood out, behavioral information like how it walked, hopped or flew. This Forum is just for North American birds.

Flycatchers

Post by Sbruenjes »

I saw these birds yesterday at the South Mountain Reservation in Essex County, NJ. I think the first might be a least, the second might be yellow bellied, and the last two Eastern wood pee-wee. But I am not at all sure, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the primary projection too long for a Least, especially from that angle?
