From Tuesday, I chased a Lazuli in a guys yard that has been there about a week. While there I got one glimpse of this one is there any way to distinguish it as Lazuli or Indigo? Both are rare here Painted is the only expected one. ![Image]()

There was a male lazuli in the yard for sure, and Indigo Buntings are rare but occasionally seen here.
I thought it looked like it had wing bars but maybe not. I can't tell at all now that I'm on a phone.

The second post looks like a female Painted to me. Overall greenish, pale bill, dark legs, no strong wing markings.

It's a Lazuli, Indigos tend to be much streakier, uniform brown below, and those wing bars are REALLY strong for an INBU.
