2026-27 Duck Stamps available!

It's time for my annual post encouraging birders to buy duck stamps! I know this is a high point of every Whatbirder's summer social calendar! 
"But I don't hunt! Why in the name of Roger Tory Peterson would I buy a duck stamp?"
The duck stamp program is one of the most effective ways to fund habitat preservation. 98% of funds raised are spent directly on wetland and grassland preservation and recovery. The habitats protected benefit not only migratory waterfowl but other birds, mammals, fauna and flora. Besides, the stamps themselves are small jewels of art!
