What Bird Is That Forum

I think it was just yesterday, maybe the day before, when I returned to my Whatbirdisthat tab on my Android phone and refreshed the screen by clicking on the Board Index link. When the screen refreshed I saw 'Private messages' where my notification bell usually is. I can't be 100% certain, but I think it was black in colour, not red. When i clicked on it and opened my private messages, there were no new messages and just one old private message. When I closed my private messages, the notification bell returned to its usual positioning and the red colour indicated I had new a notification. Clicking the notification bell only revealed old notifications. Not sure why the Private Messages link popped up or why the Notification Bell turned red, but it's left me wondering if I'm missing some messages. Just thought you should know of the possible glitch.

(edited to add that 'Private messages' is not usually visible on my phone's screen unless I go to the control panel)
