We were thinking BAIRD‘s but then one of the pics my friend got of what he thought was the same bird showed yellow legs. What makes you lean white rumped? Would be pretty unusual this time of year

I was thinking white-rumped over Bairds because the back pattern seems a little drab for bairds in my mind.
Also i had in my head this bird had streaked flanks but it clearly doesn't. I must be remembering another bird.

New photos show yellowish legs. Breast color and bill shape point to least, and I think the reddish crown and cheeks paired with the grayish scapulars point to an adult Least Sandpiper losing it's breeding plumage.

Seems like it has to be but why was it so much larger than the other least as seen in second to last pic?
