Here's a female Mallard that paired up with an American Wigeon drake. The second picture is the resultant off spring.

Snowing again so added a few more - the second last one has a drake plumaged hen, a Mallard x Black Duck hybrid (MBDH) and a hen.
The first three were about 2.5MB each and reached the post limit so I will use smaller files in future.

more osprey taken with an old film camera i found cheap at a pawn shop, also at St Marks NWR in 2014
they turned out better then i expected.

I had a hard time deciding on a favourite photo this week so I went with the newer of two long time favourites. This is the older photo of a White-breasted Nuthatch from March of 2013.
