Brewer's Blackbird or Great-Tailed Grackle?
Brewer's Blackbird or Great-Tailed Grackle?
This one doesn't seem to have the tail needed to be a great-tailed grackle but I feel like the body, face and eyes resemble what I'm seeing in pictures. I assume it's a Brewer's Blackbird but it doesn't appear to have the purplish tinge so I'm just not sure.

Location and date, please?
I cannot confirm a blackbird species but it's not a Great-tailed or Boat-tailed Grackle. The bill is much too short, and the body isn't bulky enough.

Thanks. Hopefully we'll hear from someone who can eliminate Rusty Blackbird.

I vote Brewer's, I think the picture is a bit under exposed so the coloring appears off. I lightened the picture a bit & it looks okay for Brewer's plus the bill appears a bit heavy for a Rusty. Keep in mind though I've only seen Brewer's once. I've seen quite a few Rusty though. Believe range favors Brewer's as well.

Was back at that park this morning and got some more pictures with better lighting. Feeling pretty confident on Brewer's now.
