Need help identifying a bird? Please post your question here and if possible include a photo. Also let us know where and when you saw the bird. Got this one last week on a hike in Beaver Creek, CO. Did not get a great look at it or shot of it. I saw a bunch of White-Breasted in the spring. Hadn't seen any in a couple of months but wondering if this is Red-Breasted. While I never got a look at the coloring of the breast the markings on the head seem to match Red-Breasted with the stripe around the eye. Thanks!

Yep, Red. The underside is less red on females and basically white on immatures. As you noted, the eyestripe separates it from White.
