I'll resurrect this thread with a couple that I had posted on the old forum.

"Yeah, the hawk's a total loser. The hummingbirds call him 'slowmo'. The doves all say he couldn't hunt his way out of a wet paper bag...and...he's...hovering right behind me, isn't he?"

Someone didn't quite get his Ostrich impersonation right :lol: "You put the lime in the coconut and drink it all up..." ;) (Even a Vulture needs some fiber once in a while...)

I once had a White-Eared Hummingbird fly in through the window and perch on the top of my reading glasses while I was grading papers! Unfortunately I didn't dare move to try to get a photo, since I had no photographing device close enough to risk it.
