Goose

Post by Sbruenjes »

I saw this bird today, with a few other geese, at a pier in Union County, NJ. This one was a bit smaller, but I would have still said Canada goose. But Merlin gives Cackling goose. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Canada is correct. Cacklers have much smaller, stubbier bills.
