Empid Frenzy

Need help identifying a bird? Please post your question here and if possible include a photo. Also let us know where and when you saw the bird. Empid Frenzy

Post by MtnAg08 »

Saw a lot of Empids today on my hike in Beaver Creek. I've pretty much just seen Western Flycatchers but I feel like only one of these has a for-sure teardrop eye ring which seems to be the giveaway on them. Just curious if anybody has any though or ideas if any of these are something other than Western. Thanks!

Short answer no, second answer, I really struggle with empids, and always leave my empid id up to a higher power if there is one available.
